Down on the Farm Card - Echo Park Paper

Hello there!  Tya here - and I am up on the blog today sharing a handmade card using the super cute "Down on the Farm "collection! What a fun bunch of products to work with! I have a farmhouse theme decor in my home and was really excited to get to this play with this collection because it totally speaks to me!

I started with a solid red from the 6x6 paper pad. I then trimmed down a piece of the cute farm truck paper from the 6x6 paper pad as well. From there I took the yellow plaid 4x4 card from the  4x4 journaling card paper and placed that down. From there I added cut out the cute letter board card from the  3x4  journaling cards. I added that on top of the yellow plaid. Now the fun part - the decorating!

I loved this cute tag from the Frames and Tags Ephemera. I tied a bow from jute and added it with a glue dot to the top of the tag. I also added a blue button tied with some twine.

I loved this cute farmhouse from the Element Stickers and added it to the card with a foam dot. I also trimmed a section of the chicken border sticker, which is also on the Element Stickers and placed in along the bottom edge of the card.

I found the red plaid label in the Frames and Tags Ephemera and place the Farm Living piece on top of the label with foam tape. The label is from the Ephemera. Another blue button tied with twine was placed on the bottom corner. I tucked a cute farm doggie sticker behind the Farm Living piece. He was too cute not to add. :)

I had so much fun creating this cute card - if any of you are farm lovers like me, you will need to grab this collection and make some cards as well. It has so many fun elements - I can't wait to make more!
Thank you so much for stopping by today! Happy Crafting!

Home Banner - Our House Collection by Carta Bella

Hello there! Tya here up on the blog today! I am so happy to be sharing my project with you all - I made this fun home decor item using the lovely "Our House" collection by Carta Bella. I have this frame that I like to decorate with different themes and display it on a table in my living room. I knew when I saw this collection I wanted to make another banner to display.

I used some kraft cardstock as the bases for the banners and then added a few different pattern papers from the collection. I turned to my trusty Silhouette and cut out letters from Ebony Black Linen cardstock and some ovals from Natural White cardstock. I then decorated each letter with the stickers and  Ephemera from the collection. Here are close-ups of each of the letters:

I love the florals and butterflies in the collection and so this letter is decorated with a few of those stickers.

How cute is that kitty cat sticker? I layered the hello sticker on top of one of the Ephemera pieces. I also added a few heart stickers and Ephemera banners to this banner piece.
I fell in love with the Home Sweet Home sticker and used this on the right side of the letter. The collection also has some really cute houses on the sticker sheet so they were added to the bottom left side.
My kitchen is the center of my home and this letter was a tribute to that. I loved all the different little sub-themes in the collection and the bowls and utensil stickers were just too cute not to use.
Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope I have inspired you to run out and grab this collection and use it to make your own home decor. This Our House Collection is perfect for so many great projects. Have a great day and Happy Crafting!

Carta Bella Paper | Circus Party Set

Hi there! Hope you are all doing well! It's Tya up on the blog today sharing a fun party set with the adorable Circus collection. This collection is simply so fun! I loved all the circus themed colors and icons!  It made making this set so easy!

I chose to do 3 different party favors you could use for a circus themed party. First off is a gift bag. I found a small blue gift bag at the craft store. I cut out a square of yellow and white dot paper from the 6x6 paper pad for the background. I then made a medallion/badge accent on the card using some blue striped pattern paper from the 6x6 paper pad, some chipboard shapes, stickers and Ephemera. I mounted the medallion shape to the front of the bag with some foam tape. I added a few enamel dots as well. I finished the bag off with some blue bakers twine.
Next I made a popcorn box from a cut file that I cut out with my Silhouette. I used a 12x12 piece of Join the Circus paper to make the box. The box is decorated with a yellow banner shape cut from some solid yellow paper from the 6x6 paper pad. Then I added a chipboard clown and stars, some more Ephemera and enamel dots as well. I tied a bow on a bag of popcorn with more of the blue bakers twine.
The last favor I made were a couple of cupcake wrappers cut from the Greatest Show 12x12 paper and a cut file on my Silhouette. I  added some chipboard animals to a plastic stick and added a few word stickers, chipboard stars and enamel dots. I  also finished these off with more blue bakers twine.

If you have a circus themed party in mind this collection would be so fun to make favors like these ones to give to your party guests. I hope I have inspired you to create some of these fun projects for your next circus party. Thanks for stopping by - Happy crafting!

Echo Park Paper Adventure Awaits Layout

Hey there Echo Park fans- Tya here. I am such a sucker for a cute boy line so when I saw this cute collection called Adventure Awaits, I knew I had to make a layout featuring my favorite little boy. This collection is full of adorable icons and I love the color pallet so much! The navy and yellow just pop! I had so much fun with it.
My son loved the outdoors and was always full of energy and loved to go exploring. He would rather be outside than anywhere else! So I added lots of "adventure" titles and accents on my layout to reflect that characteristic. Here are some close ups of the emebellishments:
I like using the Ephemera pieces as spots for my journaling. This large bracket die cut had some printing on the front, so I just flipped it over to the plain white side and added my typed journaling and decorations on there. I love that cute little boy on the chair ! He is a chipboard piece. I also added some twine, stickers and enamel dots for more decoration.
The bottom section here is made by layering Ephemera, Chipboard and stickers.  I always like to add some enamel dots for some shine as well, so there are a few of those sprinkled on this seciton as well.
And  this tag just speaks for itself. My sweet boy :)

Thank you so very much for stopping by the blog today, If you have and adventurous little spirit in your house like I do, this collection is for you! Happy Crafting!

Celebrate Winter - Echo Park Paper

Hello! It's Tya up on the blog today sharing a layout I created using the fabulous Celebrate Winter collection! Ok call me crazy! But I really love winter! Growing up in Utah (where we are known to have the Greatest Snow on Earth) has really spoiled me. My family loves to ski and snowboard and do all sorts of fun activities in the snow. I decided to make my layout about a snow tubing outing we had a few years back.  My sweet family all in their winter clothes and rosy cheeks just makes me smile.
I loved the mix of navy blue and red in this collection. I started with a navy cardstock background and then built my page up from there.
Here are a few close ups of the page elements:
For my circle border accent, I used some Ephemera and some of my circle punches in various sizes to punch out different pattern papers from the 6x6 paper pad. I liked the small scale of the designs on those papers and didn't want to make the circles to busy. I  added some snowflake stickers and chipboard pieces here and there. I also added a red brad in the center of the snowflake.
I created a tag cut from the Linen Coordinating solid paper and added my journaling  to the tag. I added another brad and some blue bakers twine at the bottom. The Winertime title is from the Frames and Tags Ephemera added to the top of the tag with some foam tape. I also added the cute chipboard snowman and a little birdie sticker to decorate the bottom left edge.
The right side is more of the circle punched papers along with another snowflake sticker and a tree sticker  as well. I love adding tabs to the tops of my photos for some added interest as well.

I had so much fun working with this adorable collection. I hope I have inspired you to pick this one up for yourselves so you can record all of your fun winter time memories! Happy Crafting!

Carta Bella Tartan No. 2 project - Mitten and Snowman Hat gift set

Hi there Echo Park fans -  It's Tya here up on the blog today. I am sharing a gift set I made using the Tartan No. 2 collection. I love plaids so these were such fun and festive papers to work with.

Both of these boxes were made using cut files that I cut out on my Silhouette. I thought it would be fun to do a little snowman themed gift set with a top hat and a mitten box. These are just the right sized to hold a little treat. I used the Red Buffalo tartan paper on the mittens and the band on the top hat. The snowflake is also a cut file cut from some white cardstock. Here are some close ups of the boxes:

I added some green cardstock floral boughs cut from the Jolly Branch Trio die set. I added a black jewel brad in the center and then added a sticker tag from the  Christmas Sticker sheet for the sentiment.

This was a quick and easy project to whip up and would make really fun neighbor, co worker  or friend gifts. Thanks a bunch for stopping by today - and make sure you grab these adorable Tartan papers for all of your holiday and winter paper craft projects! The colors and pattern are very on trend and would wow anyone! Happy Crafting!

Gold Foil Paper Pilow Boxes

Hello there Echo Park fans! It's Tya up on the blog today and I had the pleasure of working with a few of the stunning Gold Foil papers to make these pillow boxes.  I LOVE the gold foil on these papers. So eye catching and festive!

I created these boxes using my Silhouette Cameo and this cut file (I didn't use the pinecone decorations). The boxes I made are 3 different sizes, and I acheived the different sizes by simply resizing the boxes down or up after I cut out my first box.

To make the tags I used a manual die cutting machine and cut out 3 tags from cream cardstock using this tag die cut. I then stamped the "Merry Christmas" sentiment using some clear embossing ink and then some gold embossing powder. I die cut a few sprigs of pine needles from the solid side of the green foil paper using the Jolly Branch Trio die set. I added some green and red bakers twine to the tag to finish it off.
Here are a few close ups of each of the boxes:

I tied a gold tulle bow around the boxes and then glued the tags to the ribbon. These were really quick and easy to whip up. They would be great to keep on hand for any last minute gift giving you need to do. They would also make great decor as well sitting on a table or mantle.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope I have inspired you to use the lovely foil papers for all of your holiday gift packaging! Happy Crafting!
